M. Ed. Digital Education Leadership
Instructional Technology Coach
I am an instructional technology coach with two years experience in multiple elementary schools. Through my work with teachers as a coach and mentor I partner with teachers and strive to support them in using technology to transform the learning of students.
Prior to working as a coach I taught for 8 years in a Spanish dual language program north of Seattle, Washington. While working as a bilingual teacher, I became interested in helping ELL students acquire language and the ways technology can be integrated into language acquisition in different subject areas. That interest also leads me to reflect on the connections between culture and technology in my work as a coach.
My personal life also shapes my work in education. My wife and I spent a year volunteering in Honduras, Central America from 2011-2012. I’m a husband and a father of five year old twins. Initially, while pursuing a M.Ed. in Digital Education Leadership at Seattle Pacific University I shared my journey and reflections through this blog.
